A while back I recorded a duet called `My heart is set on you´ with Marty Graveyard. Now, the album is ready and will be released on the 21st of June! You can order it on http://www.bol.com/nl/p/summer-holiday/1000004012249203/ !! So congrats to Marty Graveyard and his amazing production! 

Wednesday, I performed as a guest singer in a Café called Stiels in Haarlem. Not with my own band, but with other great musicians that approached some of my own songs in a whole different way. Very inspiring and so much fun to do! I’ll be performing there another time, so if you live nearby you should definitely check it out! Here are some pics taken that night! xNAOMI

Oh My God, can you believe it? It is 2012! And I have to say, 2011 was a great year.. Some highlights:

Finishing my first album, “The Melody Of Me”
Winning the 538DemoDuel
Doing the radio tour with my great band, we really got the chance to bond;)
Getting my bachelor and last but not least, becoming an aunt! 

Seems like it has been a very good year doesn’t it? However, I’m really looking forward to this year because I have BIG plans.. 

In the spring time I will start recording a new album, with new songs and I´ll be working with new great people. And…

Hopefully I become Master of Arts when I finish my master thesis in Comparative Arts and Media Studies! 

Hope you guys also look back on a great year, and that all of your big dreams and plans will come true in 2012!

Hey You!

Last week, I’ve never made a videoclip before, now I had two in one week! The first one this week was my own videoclip of the song ‘A Fight With Me’ (Below this post is a clip of The Making Of..) and the second clip was for a cong called ‘I Knew’. A couple of months ago I told you guys I won the 538demoduel, and now the song is ready and the videoclip is recorded. I had a great time working with Vince Moogin and Frederico Cruz again. It’s a trance song, so it’s quite different than what I normally do, but I have to say, I think it turned out pretty good!

Tonight I’ll be performing an intimate gig which is also very nice, and next saturday I’ll be performing on the radio again, so don’t forget to tune in on 105.5FM 11 o’clock to listen to Haarlem105!

Yesterday, my band and I made a videoclip! I haven’t seen it yet, but we’ll be editing it in a couple of weeks.. :)

It’s been too long since my last post, so I’m trying to tell you what I’ve been up to these past few weeks! I have to say I was mostly working on my interesting essay’s;) but I definitely made some progress in a few things. 

First of all, I’ve had an appointment with a great mixer who will help me to record my second album. We’ll start recording in the spring! I’ll keep you posted on this one..

Furthermore, I’ve posted some new events on my website, so check it out! 22-11-2010 we’re performing at Live uit Lloyd, which is a very cool programme on RTV Rijnmond. We’re performing 5 songs, so I’m very excited for this show! Also the gig on Zaanradio will be fun because we can play for a whole hour:) A few more gigs are coming up, so stay tuned..

Last but not least: I’ve told you guys before that I was making plans for a videoclip. Well, on October 30th the videoclip becomes reality! I’m very curious how that turns out, but of course I will post some photos of ‘The Making Of..’ and when it’s ready and great;), I will upload this too.

Hi you!

In my previous post, a promised to keep you up to date with everything! So this is me, keeping my promise:)

Tomorrow (21-09-2011) I have a very nice gig in Hoofddorp. I’m performing on the radio again! This time in a programme called: Puur Cultuur. There’s not much room for my whole band, so I’m doing this acoustic with my guitar player Marcel Titarsolej. Looking forward to it!

Thennnn.. the day after i’ve an appointment with PRvisuals about my videoclip! We’ll be shooting in Octobre so i’m very curious how that turns out:)!

Pfff, what else?!

Well, besides singing and performing, I’m also doing the MASTERS:  Comparative Arts and Media Studies at the VU in Amsterdam. So the next couple of weeks i’ll be writing some essays about Fiction & Film and Literature Visualized.

The Song Ready LIVE! performed at RADIO 5, Dichtbij Nederland

Hope you all have a nice summer! Just got back from my trip to france and ready to end the summer (did the summer started at all? Here in the Netherlands the weather is soooo bad!)  with some music!

A while back, Martijn van der Graaf (ex-drummer of The Madd) asked me to do a duet with him for a song on his soloalbum! This thursday I’m recording it and i think it will be awesome!
